Des Collines police seek information to identify Cantley road rage suspect

Sophie Demers

The Sécurité Publique MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais is seeking any information that could help in identifying a person of interest in an alleged road rage case. The incident took place in Cantley on March 26 at approximately 9:30 pm.

According to information provided by police, the incident started when the female driver stopped at the intersection of Des Tourterelles and Bouchette roads. The driver started chasing another vehicle in a residential area. The pursuit took place on various roads and streets including: Bouchette, Mont-Joël, Denis, des Pins, Geres as well as Impasse des Conifers.

On Impasse des Conifers, the drivers of both vehicles allegedly got into an argument before the suspect eventually fled the scene. Authorities describe the suspect as a white, English-speaking female, age 40 to 50, with chestnut hair. The vehicle is a white sport-utility vehicle registered in Ontario, with LED and fog lights.

The police ask anyone with information that could help them identify the driver to contact Detective Sergeant Gabriel Ladouceur at 819-459-2422 ext. 3299. People who live on the streets mentioned and have images or video from home security cameras are also encouraged to contact Detective Sergeant Ladouceur.
