Chelsea council notes
Securing Water
Reuel S. Amdur
Water was an important concern addressed at the May 6 meeting of Chelsea Council. Council took action to respond to problems with drinking water in Centre-ville. This involved work to protect the membrane in the system involved with pre-treatment of the water and repair of the conduit to the sector.
Council also approved a site on Mill Road for the relocation of the old Cascades railroad station. Expenses to work related to this historic were met by voluntary contributions.
